Camille McCarroll

Since 2006, Camille McCarrol (formally Camille Moses-Allen) has been one of Baltimore's top yoga teachers. Camille is a senior YogaWorks teacher and teacher trainer, yet she is an eternal student of yoga having taken 6 teacher trainings at both the 200 and 300 level herself.  Camille is a certified YogaWorks teacher and trainer, OM Yoga teacher, meditation and restorative yoga teacher.

Having taught thousands of students in Maryland,  Camille conveys a powerfully energetic approach to the vinyasa side of yoga with a strong anatomical focus.  She wants you to not only learn how to get on the mat and in the next pose, but how to do the pose with muscular strength, stability, and mental clarity.

Camille challenges her students to go beyond their comfort zones and to break habitual patterns on and off of the yoga mat.  As her yoga teacher Cyndi Lee says: “Sometimes hard work is required."  Her love of yoga stems from her days of dance and gymnastics and taking yoga classes with her mom.

Beyond classes online and inside the yoga studio, Camille has led international yoga retreats in Costa Rica; brought yoga to school children; introduced yoga to couples, Girl Scouts, corporate America, wedding parties, and military personnel; offered workshops and helped shape the next generation of yoga instructors through her leadership with Charm City Yoga’s 200- and 300-hour teacher training programs.   Camille currently leads YogaWorks national 200- and 300-hour professional training programs.

Camille is recognized as one of Baltimore city’s leading yoga teachers and has been interviewed on WBFF Fox 45 News and WMAR ABC 2 News; featured in the Baltimore City Paper, and Inside Lacrosse Magazine; has served as a Lululemon Ambassador, and was sponsored by Under Armour.   She has also led trainings and forums on inclusivity and body positivity at Virginia Tech University.  Additionally Camille was chosen by The Baltimore Sun newspaper as one of the city's Fitness Hero's of 2015 and Baltimore as well as Baltimore Magazine’s Best Yoga Teacher in Baltimore of 2017.
